The bead head Pheasant Tail will imitate a variety of aquatic insects and is a mainstay for many fly anglers. The bead head adds some weight to the pattern allowing it to get to a depth where the trout are. The Pheasant Tail belongs in fly boxes of beginners and experienced anglers alike.
