Another popular dry fly, the Blue Wing Olive imitates mayflies that are commonly found in and around trout waters. Because the insects the Blue Wing Olive imitates are so ubiquitous, this is another pattern that should be in your assortment. The mayflies this dry fly represent often hatch in big numbers so have this one ready, in the event of a mass hatching.
