I consider this as a variant of a stimulator. I high-floating fly to either use alone as a hopper imitation or as an indicator with a dropper. The large eyes allows for easy threading of a second piece of tippit for the dropper. I've painted the eyes on these yellow-it makes it look like the hoppers head.
